American Babies, Watershed

When: Wed., April 4, 9 p.m. 2012
Price: $6

The Philadelphia alt-country pack American Babies began in 2007, when frontman Tom Hamilton gathered some dudes together to jam. Two LPs later, they've developed into a quartet that adds twang to its guitars and bangs its choruses with piano. On 2011's Flawed Logic, Hamilton sings to his "baby" in "Dance All Night"; the track swings and respectively nods to the Boss's "I'm on Fire." Wilmington's Watershed opens. —Ashleigh Phillips
