American Aquarium

When: Wed., July 21, 10 a.m.-2 p.m. 2010
Price: Free

Restraint is the mode on American Aquarium's latest, Smalltown Hymns, which finds the locals largely toning down their heartland bombast in favor of an easygoing alt-country approach. But fear not: The only restraint shown in their raucous live show is when frontman BJ Barham tones his between-song banter down PG for the family-friendly crowd. He'll have to do just that during this marathon of three 45 minute sets, while folks shop for produce and sample fresh fare from nine local chefs during the Toyota Farm to Table Tour, which runs 10 a.m.-2 p.m. The tunes and tastings are free.
