Re: “Raleigh’s First Responders Want More Money, But the Mayor Wants Them to Wait

They have been told for years to wait, the economy is bad! Meanwhile, Raleigh has a Mayor willing to spend $52 million, on what seemed to be a pet project, to buy land for a park as city employees both new and long term continue to struggle. We have a city with over $200 million sitting in an account doing nothing. Why has this city's leadership continually ignored it's employees? Perhaps it's time for a change in leadership, time for someone that realizes employees need to be valued and the money the city brings in is not theirs to use as they please.
