Re: “Durham commissioners to weigh tethering ordinance

"Amanda Arrington, a member of the Durham County Animal Control Advisory Board and the Coalition, said she anticipates significant opposition to the ordinance from several groups, including people who support dog fighting or dog breeding." Now those who 'support dog breeding' are to be referred to as though they are criminals??? This member of the 'board' certainly has an obvious agenda, which seems to be shared by the so-called reporter. So much for unbiased reporting. Do your own research, rather than falling for the lies of those that would remove our animals from our homes. How many people are bitten by dogs running 'at-large' with no owner control (already illegal -but unenforced- in most areas of the country) vs. dogs safely tethered in their own yard? This type of shoddy reporting gives publications a bad reputation, well-deserved if they take no action against someone so obviously using this as their own personal AR agenda platform.
