Acid Mothers Temple, ST-37, Clang Quartet

When: Sun., May 10, 9 p.m. 2015
Price: $10-$12
When Japanese psych/classic rock fanatic Kawabata Makoto created his own brand of wonderful mania, Acid Mothers Temple & the Melting Paraiso U.F.O. came to bright, weird life. Along with fellow members Tsuyama Atsushi and Higashi Hiroshi Kawabata, he has toured throughout America nearly every year of the band’s existence, revealing a dedication most acts couldn’t try to match. Their opening act is the equally long-lived Texas group ST-37, no stranger to similar sounds. —Ned Raggett
