Aaron Lubeck

When: Wed., June 16, 7 p.m. 2010

With green building and LEED certification an increasingly important part of creating environmentally friendly sustainable growth, it's important to know more about what can be done with this evolving form of architecture and construction. Local author Aaron Lubeck, a partner with Trinity Design/ Build, a restoration and preservation consultancy, completed the first LEED-certified historic building in North Carolina. He recounts some of his experiences in his book Green Restorations: Sustainable Buildings and Historic Homes, which he'll read from at 7 p.m. —Zack Smith
