A Queer Kiss

When: Oct. 25-Nov. 16 2013
Price: $16-24
Chicago playwright Joel Drake Johnson (Four Places) premieres his newest work, developed in last year's New Play Workshop at Deep Dish. Based on a true story, the play involves two high school boys and their parents "caught in a storm of accusation, recrimination and burgeoning sexuality" after the boys impulsively kiss each other to see what it would be like. There are much, much more horrifying things teenagers could experiment with, but the parents have to get all up in arms about it, you know? —Zack Smith
