A Midsummer Night’s Dream

When: Feb. 23-March 1 2011
Price: $12-15

This version of Shakespeare's enchanting tale is told with a twist: All of the roles, with the exception of Nick Bottom, will be played by young women. Peace College's all-female student body will take on the roles of Oberon and Titania alike. That lone exception—the role of Nick Bottom—will be played by English professor Wade Newhouse, who also teaches acting in the school's theater program. The magical mischief begins at 7:30 p.m.; performances continue nightly through March 1 except on Sunday. Tickets are $12 in advance and $15 at the door. —Lauren Shute
