Re: “Investigation into Liberty Warehouse resumes

I literally hate to see Liberty Warehouse go. It IS an historical landmark, as was McPherson Hospital. What is left of where my late father practiced medicine is a sick joke. Keep Liberty as a landmark!!! It was a part of my life, as well as countless others.

I sold my tobacco at Liberty Warehouse & I loved the place & especially the Stones, who owned it, & others
like Bill Waller. Great caring people who always looked out for me & I certainly miss & love them all. My eyes water every time I think about it or happen to slowly pass by. I guess all has to " move on " but I have problems with change, as do most with whom I grew up with in Old Durham...it was absolutely great! Ohh...
if I could turn back the hands of time...
