That woman sounds familiar, like a friend of mine.

There are MANY stories like hers, though.

I won't even get started on mine. I'll just say, I was prepared to testify at a congressional hearing with reams of bills, if needed.

I would add that some of the opposition I have found for my involvement with MM, up to arrest, was the disapproval I faced in the conservative Baptist church I have attended. I still find it astounding that folks celebrated the birth of a child, exalted for the peace, compassion, and, freedom He brought to everyone, and, now our "leaders" are making decisions which are deeply harming the very ones He chose to bless, heal, and feed...the rules of His time rejected Him, as well. I'm saddened that, apparently, He would be rejected again today. So much for His command to help the widows, orphans and the poor.

I guess that was for "then," not "now."
