The SCOTUS decision is definitely good news for hard working NC residents!

Re: “450,000 North Carolinians could lose health care subsidies

We are happy to see that SCOTUS upheld tax credits for NC residents today! This takes away alot of uncertainty in the marketplace!

Re: “As enrollment starts for the Affordable Care Act, a guide to navigating Obamacare

Great article! On the subject of getting enrolled, I would like to add that there is an alternative to going directly to an insurer, or using a navigator. Licensed health insurance agents can make recommendations on which plans to enroll in - something navigators are not permitted to do. In addition, going direct to an insurer means you will only see plans from that particular insurer. A licensed agent can compare multiple plans and insurers. In addition, experienced agents can help decipher the "nuts and bolts" of health plans - networks, formularies, copays, etc. As a licensed health insurance agent, my website has a quote engine that will calculate rates based on your exact age (unlike the current calculator!), in addition, it will calculate any subsidies based on household income, as well!
