Re: “Fullsteam Brewery to Withdraw from State Promotional Programs over HB 2

So "Dude" says, I probably won't boycott Fullsteam, but I'll just make sure I don't tip. Already do that at Cocoa Cinnamon." Wow. What a statement. So, you are making a statement about discrimination by punishing the people that depend on your tips to make a decent living? Do you tell them why you aren't tipping, or are you too much of a chickens**t to speak up? I'm sure both of those establishments would be much better off without your business.

Re: “With a new corporate owner and expensive upgrades, The Ritz is now the Triangle's biggest rock club. But how does it fit in?

$9 for a can of PBR? They just lost any chance of me attending any more shows there, and I've been to plenty. This is what happens when a fucking leech like Live Nation gets their hooks in. Goodbye, Ritz- we hardly knew ye!

Re: “A legal maneuver could absolve Duke Energy of its responsibility for coal ash dumps

How stupid does Duke think the residents of NC are? And how stupid are we to allow something like this to happen? We have a rich history here of letting corporate interests take precedence over reality, letting them spin their malfeasance with statements like "Duke calls the project a "beneficial reuse". Beneficial for who? Can the people who live in this beautiful state not turn belly up for yet another environmental disaster waiting to happen? Apparently not. We might as well assume that the DENR is on the Duke payroll. We are screwed- first by fast-track fracking, PROVEN to be environmentally disastrous, and now by the very company that keeps the lights on in our homes. Good luck, North Carolina, you are going to need it.

Re: “

Why is this place even listed? It changed to the Farmhouse YEARS ago, and even that was torn down a couple of years ago. Long gone...
