Re: “The truth about the Goathouse Refuge

"The Truth About The Goathouse Refuge" A one sided story(all negative) that mostly quotes people who worked there 3 or more years ago. Looks like people had an ax to grind with Siglinda. I really resent the fact that you had nothing to say about the good that comes out of that place.Totally negative article like most media presents. I thought the Indy was diffierent but I was wrong.

I have volunteered at the Goathouse for 3 years now. Yes, we have issues to resolve like any other shelter but why pick on us when there are so many other shelters in NC that are so inhumane and filthy?

Why didn't you ask about all the people who are happy with the cats that they adopted from us? Why didn't you ask why they adopted from us? How come you didn't find and ask the people who dumped their cats outside our gates at night? How come you didn't ask how much we have spent on special needs cats that have gone to the NC State Vet School? How come you didn't ask about all the sons and daughters who brought us their parents cats after the parent died and they could not keep the cats? Why didn't you ask how we all cried together when we lose a cat?HOW COME YOU DID NOT ASK ABOUT THE GOOD WE DO?
It is all on YOUR heads if our donations and adoptions go down this year.I hope you got what you wanted from this mean article ...whatever that is!
