Re: “Chapel Hill accepting food truck applications beginning March 1

FYI...Will & Pop's will NOT run in Chapel Hill. We do NOT want to support a town that terrorizes non-violent "offenders" with semi-automatic weapons. Period.

The fees are also RIDICULOUS. Why does the Town need to add employees to do the job the county does? We are inspected randomly wherever we are. We have been inspected in Orange, Durham and Wake Counties and have been in business for 14 months.

To the doubters: Taxes, yep, we pay them. Investment in the community, again...we do one to two events where we give a percentage of sales to non-profits every month. AND we use LOCAL ingredients to make our sandwiches...you'll never see a Sysco truck delivering to us.

And finally, this low cost of doing business if a complete farce. We have to pay a commissary, we have to pay for licenses wherever we are doing business, we have to pay our insurances...including auto, and when your kitchen moves, you have to fix things. And...when you buy local, it costs a little more, but that's how we support our community.
