Re: “Internet sweepstakes cafes likely to sidestep the ban

The "jobs" will go out of state? Really? What if instead of these places feeding off the ignorance of the poor, uneducated, and desperate in our community they found a way to make money in a way that could assist the same people? What about these places is helpful to any community? Please understand that for the majority of people going into these places there are children in their homes doing without. Without, food, health insurance, guidance, help with homework and parents that are involved in their lives. Where is mommy and daddy? Down at the gambling hole losing this month's rent. Any jobs we lose to other states with this ban will be more than made up for in the investment these desperate people will make when they re-focus their enegy on their children's best interest.
