Re: “A sister and brother, one undocumented, one legal, live starkly different lives

Illegal immigrants are paying rent(And breaking housing laws at it too by cramming 15 people into a two bedroom house and garage Driving up rent on the neighboring units)They're buying groceries (With food stamps disproportunate to their percentage in society- pull the video surveillance from the grocery stores in LA County and you will see them families paying fro food with a WIC card the Man -that should be out of the picture to receive said stamps -peel off bills from a roll of cash big enough to choke a horse to pay for the alcohol and then the group climbs into this years truck to drive home) A lot of businesses, big and small, need people to work for them to 'produce' stuff (The countries that most of the immigrants are from is not the first place to come to mind when I think of high quality goods) What aren't needed are the ridiculous immigration laws that didn't even exist when you were born (nor the taxes that pay for the benifits of a civilized society) He left one city, to go to another to live, presumably to have a better life. What's the f'ing difference between that and someone from Mexico trying to do the same? (They can move from one city in their home country to another in their home country all they want but when they break into another country THEN I have a problem with it) The only difference is stupid government intervention, and your insane fear(fear of a scamming network of people that will spend their lives here taking from society more than they give.)

People who break immigration laws have no problem breaking other laws. They have a criminal mindset period.

Re: “A sister and brother, one undocumented, one legal, live starkly different lives

I live In Los Angeles and I know a lot more about illegal aliens (not just hispanic either). These people have little to no respect for our laws and they have shown that by the first act of breaking into our home country like a thief. You are being neive if you think Mexico is exporting the best or brightest. What is flooding across the borders are people without skills who can't or won't get a job or people with criminal records in Mexico. I'm not shocked to see that the majority of crimes are committed by people with hispanic surnames. Nor Am I surpride that Tijuanas rising crime rate That is where the illegal aliens are returned to. Illegal aliens returned to a point in Mexico the crime rate in that point goes up you can logically conclude that mexico was expelling it's own people with criminal tendancies to it's northern neighbor. The welfare and social systems are drained by illegals from across the sea also but since there are less of them we as the american public focus on the largest group first and that just happens to come from south of the border.
