Re: “The tea party: more for them, less for the rest of us

Hal, Great Article. I appreciate your perspective. It is much like my own. A couple thoughts about President Obama, the balance of powers and the Tea partiers.

Mr. Obama's failings started with from his fear of being assasinated and not knowing - even within his own cabinet- who to trust. The powers you mention in your article who jerk the strings of the Tea partiers, fund their candidates, along with the RNC, dozens of rich and powerful bigots, and every extreme right wing Neo-Nazi Nativist party member..... have attempted numerous assasination attempts against the President - far more than any other President in the history of the USA. As a master of astral travel I can tell you there is a secret Spritual group known as the Earth Council who takes orders directly from God who has been assigned to divinely intervene and protect OBama and so far have been successful to block and derail every one of these assasination attempts. The assasination attempts were Plan A to the powers who create and manipulate the

Re: “Mexico's drugs come north. America's guns go south.

Greetings Hal,

One of the biggest gun manufacturers Sturm Ruger in Prescott, AZ is having one of their best years of profits ever thanks to Obama paranoia here in the wild west and elsewhere. Much of the paranoia I believe comes from genetics and past lives where those in power in the middle ages and elsewhere abused their powers to the point where all but the upper classes were slaves, which led to legitiate paranoia and people arming themselves in rebellions. These fears are coming up again, hopefully for karmic resolution for many. For those spineless politicians who do not serve the common good, for those who sell unregistered guns to anyone and everyone which make their way to gangs in the US and druglords in Mexico, they will have to relive all the pain and suffering they assisted in perpetrating. Our one solace is The Creator will guarantee they get to feel all the pain they have set in motion. It is the Universal Law. Meanwhile, it doesn't hurt to ask for protection from archangel warriors, and of course our dedicated police who have to enforce our laws and keep the peace.

Best Wishes to you in NC (miss those old days with you going to the Bulls with Winkworth and Hocutt).

Re: “Raleigh bad boy no more

I knew Bobby well from 1980 - 1987. We roomed together for a couple years in Boylan Heights on Kinsey Street and again near Hillsboro St. Street. I just found out about his passing today 12-9-07. Bobby was not always so bitter, he was not always as many saw him and knew him from later years. I remember some really great times and some really awful times with him and friends. There was the time me him and a couple of women - one from kentucky, one from NC drove up to New York City to take in the sights of the big apple; there were a phase went through together in the mid-1980's after Bobby found out he was part native american when we built a sweat lodge and were very much into Grey Owl and Sun Bear. I then rode my bicycle from Raleigh, NC to eastern Oregon to meet Sun Bear and do a vision quest - if not for Bobby I may not have been so inspired. oh many thousands of other memories. When he was low on cash he would sell you his vinyl albums. A couple years ago, I packaged up all the ones I can purchased from him and sent them back to him for free as a gift. Last saw him when i was in town in 2002 - we met at sadlacks and talked about old times, old names, music. There are so many others with their own stories and memories. Please add your posts in honor of Bobby. I have some photos give gave me of him from the early - mid 1970's -one with Nancy, one with him wearing a T-Shirt that says I LOVE YOU RALEIGH. I was about to send them back to him with a christmas card, when I came across this news post. Long live the memory of Robert Michael Hocutt. Please share your memories of Bobby with me at - Steve Rose Phoenix, Arizona 12-8-07.
