Re: “Bill Bell Endorses Farad Ali for Mayor of Durham

So I guess the only question open in this election is:
Who, if anyone, does Pierce Freelon endorse?
(As a Freelon voter, I'm kinda interested in his response.)
Also, do we ever get to vote for Sheriff in these parts?
If not, we should start thinking about that

Re: “Raleigh Mayoral Rivals Nancy McFarlane, Charles Francis to Tape Debate That Will Air Friday and Sunday

Yes, I really hope this is put on YouTube or something. It would maximize voter reach, especially as there are so many of us (myself included) that don't have cable these days.

Re: “Bill Bell Endorses Farad Ali for Mayor of Durham

We are lucky to have had such a primary field of bright, excellent, visionary candidates for Mayor of Durham, and to have seen our city select these two remaining bright, excellent, visionary candidates for the position. Part of Mayor Bell's statement here is a bit confusing: is he saying something to the effect that it's too important to keep Schewel on the city council so we should not elect him mayor?

Re: “In Durham’s Ward 2, the INDY Endorses Mark-Anthony Middleton for City Council

@Durham451 @Frank

Have you been to the communities that are suffering? Would you like to come by? If you agree that we can still do both or still believe our area doesnt need some major attention I will use my last to cook you both a steak dinner ;-)

I am not hear to be mean...but just really wish people like you that appear to have all of Durham in mind would include us

@Durham451

I like your idea...but honestly...do you think the city would. Look at the history. If both was a true option my mouth would be shut! Please come to my area and see for yourself the conditions we live in and the lack of resources that have been overlooked in our area. btw...I love downtown....just cant afford to participate. Some my fault...other is lack of resources.

Re: “The INDY Endorses Mark-Anthony Middleton for Durham City Council Ward 2

Mr. Hyman,

What does it mater about who he voted for? I am sure it wasn't your Trump! I am glad he doesnt support a rail that I will never be able to afford to ride...yet my taxes will pay for it.

I am going to take a screen shot of my statement....and post to the real newspaper. This paper is one sided.

This post from earlier was removed...

Earlier post...
Please explain what development downtown Durham in the next 5 years can be more important than addressing some of the concerns of the rest of the city. People like you who never step foot outside of downtown seem to have all the answers for us, yet never talk to us.
