Re: “The INDY Endorses Mark-Anthony Middleton for Durham City Council Ward 2

Anyone who has read my op-eds that have run in newspaper across the country, would know I do not support Trump. Check it out here: http://www.bluecollarcomeback.com. And for those who thought Rooks represented Ward 2, the facts are that he not only lost citywide (good guy tho he is), but he also lost more than 2-1 in the primary and in the general in the Ward 2 precincts. In the primary in his home precinct 80% of voters chose someone else. Doesn't speak well to the notion that having solitary wards would have put Rooks on the Council. He has much less support in Ward 2 then his supporters claim.

I'm shocked that Allen Buansi wasn't endorsed. I would urge readers to read up on him.

Re: “In Durham’s Ward 2, the INDY Endorses Mark-Anthony Middleton for City Council

How did the Indy get this so wrong? Middleton is the candidate that made the statement you are accusing Rooks of. I have not seen Middleton anywhere in the ward he is running to support. Rooks is feet on the ground, responsive to the immediate needs and long term goals of the people living, attending schools, and working in this ward. I am 100% in for voting ROOKS.

I urge your readers to look at Allen Buansi's credentials, which are readily found on line. He has a long, impressive list of service to Chapel Hill and NC and a depth of experience making him exceptionally qualified to serve. The Indy missed the boat by not endorsing him with clarity and enthusiasm.
