Last month was such a blast - we can't wait to do it again this Sunday! We're going to have over 50 awesome makers, food trucks, craft beer, craft cider, coffee, tea and live music! We're even going to have some DIY pumpkin painting kits available (limited quantities, come early) - visit us at our High Street Design booth to pick one up!

Re: “Jeff Mullins and Adam Lane

This show is being headlined by Jeff Mullins and Ryan Kennemur who will be performing as Yesterday's News. This is the first in a monthly series at the Berkeley Cafe co-sponsored by Guitartown that will feature a local artist performing one of their favorite albums in its entirety. The first installment in the series will be Yesterday's News performing Whiskeytown's Strangers Almanac, which turned 18 this year. Adam Lane and Jeff Mullins open the show at 7 pm. Yesterday's News goes on at 8:15 pm. Admission is FREE but tips for the performers are appreciated.

Re: “Origin, Krisiun, Aeon, Alterbeast, Soreption, Ingested

Indyweek doesn't like metal, so we're lucky the show got any kind of attention from them.

Re: “Toxic Holocaust, Lord Dying, Suppressive Fire, Gorbash

"He slugged it out in the underground enough for Relapse to notice when it needed some of that Municipal Waste money. While he may live in the same city as metal pizzeria Sizzle Pie, thrash is not a joke for him"

I literally have no idea what you are trying to say here. Do you just google these bands and pick random key words to string together a singular thought and hope it makes sense? Also Joel Grind started this band well after the 80's, patches and denim were together for quite a while..

Again, WHY don't you mention the local bands? Calling on you Andy!

Re: “Origin, Krisiun, Aeon, Alterbeast, Soreption, Ingested

I wish you would have mentioned the local opener, Necrocosm. They're quite honestly one of the best death metal bands to come out of this region in a long time. Their new CD totally slays.

Re: “Origin, Krisiun, Aeon, Alterbeast, Soreption, Ingested

The biggest metal show Durham has probably ever seen and you only wrote about Origin? Come on dude! At least write some stuff up for the local band!

Re: “The Queers, Nobodys, Murphy's Kids, Urban Pioneers

Probably because Beyond was sort of "high concept" for the Queers and seems to be a favorite of Joe's. Also it may be the only album they can toy with like that, what are they gonna re-record Beat Off or Grow Up, have you peeped the line up on those albums? Beat Off for one has Joe, Panic, B-Face and Vapid. It doesn't get any better than that!
