919Noise Showcase: Lunar Creature, Knives of Spain, Divine Circles, Gardener, Trish Devine, Jeff Carey, C10

When: Wed., March 25, 8:30 p.m. 2015
Price: $5
This incredible midweek experimental showcase hits several extremes: Meg Mulhearn, familiar for her work in U.S. Christmas, plunders Appalachian music roots and minimalism with her violin as Divine Circles. She adds the sound to synthesizers, guitars and drones that slink and swell under the name Lunar Creature, a duo with David Lynch. Baltimore’s Jeff Carey offers another highlight with perhaps the night’s most exacting noise; his maneuvers through digital bedlam are frantic and focused. —Grayson Haver Currin
