Re: “Local 506 owner Glenn Boothe talks about the changing atmosphere of rock clubs

I must say I totally agree with Glenn on this. Being in my 30's music was and is my life. Myspace is great to book bands but it also is a way for fans to get their fix as well. It IS changing yet the bands are great right now especially in the traingle area.I am sure we will have to make changes and I hope we can continue to have live shows for our patrons but it is hard to keep the faith with so few venturing out. With recording being at the finger tips of most bands I also feel it is getting rid of wait till our show to hear our new tunes kind of excitement we once received from shows. OH- How do I miss shows like Jesus Lizard and Gwar to entertain me!-Wifey
