20Fest: Leadfoot, Aftermath A.D., Fals Prophet, The Pretty-Ugly, The Bottom Line Burlesque & Comedy Troupe, DJ FM

When: Sun., Oct. 25, 2 p.m. 2015
Price: $10-$17
In its second year, 20Fest resurrects two acts from the annals of Raleigh’s heavy music scene. Leadfoot, the bluesy hard-rock band Karl Agell and Phil Swisher founded after leaving Corrosion of Conformity, reunites. So, too, will the crossover act Aftermath A.D., who reunited previously in 2008 after 15 years away. The band’s heyday saw them forging a reputation for wild live shows alongside now-iconic headliners like COC, Danzig and Obituary. Still, little record of the band found its way online, so this rare gig might act as a needed history lesson, too. False Prophet and The Pretty Ugly share the stage with comedians and burlesque performers. —Bryan C. Reed
