Brewgaloo offers bounty of beer, food and music in Raleigh on Saturday

Posted by on Fri, Apr 24, 2015 at 1:13 PM

If you like North Carolina beer then downtown Raleigh is the place for you to be Saturday when Brewgaloo 2015 takes over City Plaza and its environs.

More than 70 NC craft brewers will be present for your imbibing pleasure. You can purchase tokens for $5, with each token good for one pint. Or, if you’re not fond of commitment, you can get a taster card for $5—it gets you five 3-ounce samples.

Clearly laughing in the face of "too much of a good thing" concepts, Brewgaloo has roughly 50 food trucks joining the breweries in case you work up an appetite from all that beer-tasting. Also, throw in another couple of dozen or so vendors with a wide range of products for your general shopping pleasure.

Seventeen bands on four stages will provide a soundtrack for the day. They are:

Martin Street Stage

2:15 p.m. Chris O’Neill

3:45 p.m. The Robertson Boys

5:15 p.m. Dave George and Friends

6:45 p.m. Wave Lynx

8:15 p.m. Ghostt Bllonde

Courthouse Steps

2:30 p.m. Laura Thurston

6 p.m. Mickey Mills

City Plaza stage

3:30 p.m. Archbishops of Blount Street

5 p.m. Jmac and Junior

6:30 p.m. Jack the Radio

8 p.m. Crucial Fiya

Capital stage

2:30 p.m. Barleycorn and Rye

4 p.m. Nuclear Honey

5:30 p.m. Young Cardinals

7 p.m. The Record

8:30 p.m. Soul House Revival
