Durham County / News New wildlife clinic to replace Piedmont's

Four days after the Piedmont Wildlife Center closed its clinic, a new one has formed to care for sick, orphaned and injured animals. Triangle Wildlife Rehabilitation Clinic will launch in early August at 1417 Seaton Road in Durham, the same location as the former Piedmont hospital.
As Rebekah Cowell reported in the Indy this week, Piedmont Wildlife Center closed its hospital because it had run out of money to continue its rehabilitation services, the center's primary mission.
According to a Triangle Wildlife, twrc_press_release1 Pamela Bayne is the founding president. Triangle Wildlife has applied to be a 501 3 (c) nonprofit; prospective donors should contact info@trianglewildlife.com for information. Donations will pay for rehabilitation activities.
