Across the country, simultaneous protests are being planned against California's Proposition 8, which amends the state's constitution to deny gay and lesbian people the right to marry, and against other anti-gay initiatives that passed last Tuesday. (See JointheImpact.com for a full list.)
Triangle organizers are now trying to secure permits to host a rally at the state capitol. All protests will take place at 1:30 EDT / 10:30 PDT. Updates to come.
