Tires slashed outside Obama rally

Posted by Vernal Coleman on Mon, Oct 20, 2008 at 10:27 AM

As the election season winds down, it seems that some North Carolinians are  expressing their non-support of the Democratic presidential candidate using that most enlightened and effective method, vandalism.

The tires on nearly 30 parked vehicles were slashed Sunday while their owners attended a rally inside Crown Coliseum in Fayetteville, reports the News & Observer.

Some of the attendees expressed concern that the incident might be an attempt to harass Obama supporters. Either that or the "Share the Road" advocates are going militant.

Authorities are still investigating the incident.

Very good analysis. One thing that is very clear is that Beverly Perdue is shopping for a job.
