The Atlantic Coast Conference released its women’s basketball schedule this week, and tipoff time is just two months from today.

Both UNC and N.C. State will open at home on Nov. 9, with the Tar Heels taking on Davidson at 5 p.m. in the first round of the preseason NIT and the Wolfpack hosting Wofford in the first round of the Sheraton Raleigh Wolfpack Invitational at a time still to be determined. State will face either Auburn or Maine in the final game of its tournament on Nov. 10.

Duke won’t open for real until its Nov. 17 game against Presbyterian, a 7 p.m. contest that precedes a 2 p.m. home game against Iona the next afternoon. The Blue Devils’ first performance for the public will be their annual Blue-White Game on Oct. 28, with Shaw coming to Cameron Indoor Stadium for an exhibition contest on Oct. 30 and Queens visiting for another on Nov. 4.

UNC will have home exhibition games against Carson-Newman on Oct. 28 and Wingate on Nov. 1, while N.C. State will play North Greenville in its sole exhibition contest Nov. 4.

Two of the three Triangle schools are at home in the ACC/Big Ten Challenge, with UNC entertaining Ohio State on Nov. 28 and Michigan State facing N.C. State on Nov. 29.

Duke’s most interesting non-conference home game will probably be against California on Dec. 2.

The Blue Devils will host UNC on March 3 in the season finale while visiting N.C. State on Jan. 3 and UNC on Feb. 3.

The Tar Heels will visit State on Jan. 10 and host the Wolfpack on Feb. 24. UNC will also host its annual game with N.C. Central at 11 a.m. on Dec. 12.

State’s Hoops 4 Hope game will be on Feb. 17 against visiting Georgia Tech.

The ACC Tournament will be March 7-10 at Greensboro Coliseum. Duke will also host first- and second-round contests in the NCAA Tournament on March 24 and 26.
