Wolfpack visits Illinois in ACC/Big Ten Challenge tonight

N.C. State looks to get back on track tonight, taking on Illinois on the road as their part of the ACC/Big Ten Challenge.

Both teams are 3-4 and on two-game losing streaks. The Wolfpack finished fourth in the Nugget Classic in Reno, Nev., while the Illini finished fourth in the eight-team Rainbow Wahine Showdown in Honolulu including an 87-58 loss to UNC in the semifinals.

The Wolfpack won the schools’ only previous meeting in Raleigh in 2007.

Senior guard Amber White leads the Wolfpack in scoring with 14.9 points per game and assists at 3.3.

Following tonight’s game the Wolfpack’s next contest will be at home on Sunday at 2 against Southern California.
