UNC quarterback T.J. Yates is the conference’s offensive back of the week, while Duke tight end Cooper Helfet is offensive lineman of the week.

Yates completed 24 of 35 passes for a school record 439 yards and a pair of touchdowns as the Tar Heels shocked Florida State 37-35, UNC’s first win at Doak Campbell Stadium. Along with a 412-yard effort in the season opener against LSU, Yates has the top two passing yardage performances in the conference this season.

Helfet caught seven passes for a career best 122 yards and a touchdown as the Blue Devils kept their chances for a winning season alive with an electrifying 55-48 win over visiting Virginia. Helfet caught two passes totaling 30 yards for first downs on the Blue Devils’ game-winning 91-yard drive.
