Shaun Draughn is off the list of UNC football players whose eligibility has been in question.

The senior tailback, who was held out of the season opener against LSU while the university and the NCAA determined his status, will play in Saturday’s ACC opener against Georgia Tech at Kenan Stadium.

The situations for 12 other Tar Heels, including Marvin Austin who is on an indefinite suspension for violations of team rules, are still under review.

Draughn, who is from Tarboro, has 1,433 career rushing yards and four touchdowns. He also had 21 catches for 125 yards last season before being lost with a shoulder injury in the ninth game of the season against Duke.
