Tennessee rallies late to double score on Mudcats

The Tennessee Smokies scored seven runs over the final two innings, taking a 10-5 win over the Carolina Mudcats at Five County Stadium to even their season-ending four-game series at one win apiece.

Russ Canzler led the Smokies, who won both halves in the Southern League’s North Division, with five RBI on three hits including a pair of doubles. Brandon Guyer added three hits including a double with two RBI while Steve Clevenger homered.

Kyle Smit (5-1) was the winning pitcher while Lee Tabor (3-3) took the loss.

Jake Kahaulelio led the Mudcats with a homer and two singles and scored twice. Kyle Day added a double with two RBI.
