Cory Elenio, a midfielder/forward who has been on trial for the Carolina RailHawks, has been signed. Elenio, who made a strong impression in an appearance last month against the Montreal Impact, is a native of Michigan and went to school at the University of Evansville before landing for a two-season stint with the Columbus Crew, which he spent as a reservist. He saw action in two first-team games.

Yesterday was media day at WakeMed Soccer Park. Triangle Offense's Neil Morris attended and picked up some intriguing news on a couple of fronts, including plans for a new tactical formation. It's right here.
