The second half of N.C. Central's game at UNC Greensboro was pretty good for the Eagles.

The first, not so much.

Freshman Joanna Miller (pictured) had a game-high 25 points and seven rebounds, but the Eagles couldn't recover from a 20-point halftime deficit and came up short in a 70-57 loss to the Spartans.

Lakiah Hyson and Amy Clapper had 11 points each for UNCG (3-6), which also got 10 from Brey Dorsett.

J'Mia Pollock was the only other double-figure scorer for the Eagles (0-8) with 10 points.
