Both of N.C. Central's basketball teams are getting tough challenges today, as they'll visit two different ACC schools.

LeVelle Moton will try again for his first win as a collegiate head coach as the Eagle men's team (0-1) visits Miami at 4 p.m. in the Hurricanes' season opener.

The task may be even more daunting for the women's club coached by Joli Robinson (pictured), as the Eagles visit Maryland - ranked No. 21 in the coaches' poll - at 7 p.m. in the season opener for both teams. That is part of NCCU's two-day trip to the Old Line State, with the Eagles also visiting Morgan State on Monday night.

NCCU's teams will both return home Wednesday night for a doubleheader at McLendon-McDougald Gym. That night Robinson's team will host Campbell at 5:30 p.m., followed by Moton's team taking on Division III N.C. Wesleyan.
