Hansbrough Won't Play Tonight

Posted by on Sun, Nov 30, 2008 at 5:55 PM

Tyler Hansbrough will sit out the game against UNC Asheville tonight, according to ACC Now.

UNC Asheville is also missing their center, Kenny George, who had his career ended after having part of his foot amputated.

ACC Now reports that it is only for precautionary reasons. This is easy to understand, considering the Heels' crucial ACC-Big Ten Challenge match up against Michigan State later this week.

The Heels tip off at 6:30 p.m. against UNC Asheville.

Ed Davis will likely start in Hansbrough's place.
