N.C. State 38, Miami 28: Quarterbacks win futures.

Posted by on Sat, Nov 29, 2008 at 3:26 PM

Under cover of gray skies, N.C. State capitalized on several crucial University of Miami mistakes to win its final home game of the year 38-28. The victory pushes N.C. State to 6-6 on the year and into the wonderful world of bowl eligibility. We won't know their fate for a bit, but—if the same team with same quarterback and the same fiery defense shows up for a bowl—they deserve it and will likely fare well. Atop Russell Wilson's scrambling legs and sure arm (new State record: 226 consecutive pass attempts without an interception), N.C. State looked mostly fantastic today.

More on the future of N.C. State football and Duke men's basketball coming soon.
