Video: UNC alumnus Andy Thorn brings the Leftover Salmon to the Cat's Cradle

Posted by on Wed, Nov 20, 2013 at 1:31 PM

It's been more than 10 years since Leftover Salmon visited the Cat's Cradle. Since gradually coming out of hibernation years ago, the group has been touring heavily, including a full slate of dates through the rest of the year. When they arrived at the Cradle earlier this month, the revitalized band had UNC alumnus Andy Thorn in tow.

The group celebrated Thorn's frequent "birthday" with a full crowd. Backed by a swirling light show, Leftover Salmon flew through two sets of good-time music. Below are several numbers from the evening, including "High Country," a newly released number available by digital download.
