  • Results for Chatham County are here.

As of 6 a.m. on Election Day, the North Carolina Board of Elections reported that

    • 24,900 absentee ballots had been collected by mail.

    • 471,006 absentee one-stop ballots had been cast at early voting sites.

There are 5.8 million registered voters in the state.

Results of absentee and one-stop ballots will be available shortly after the polls close at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday night, the Board of Election said.
