To coincide with the new exhibit (reviewed last week in the Indy), The Vorticists: Rebel Artists in London & New York, 1914–1918, the Nasher presents an original play, written from a very local place. Western Men is the work of Adam Sobsey, playwright and frequent Indy writer on books and baseball. Little Green Pig produces the work, which is billed as "a blast of surrealist humor and brainy ludicrosity featuring singing cowboys Ezra Pound and Wyndham Lewis and the Grand Old Nasher Radio Hour Band." Jay O'Berski directs, and Jeffrey Detwiler and Tony Perucci respectively play Pound and Lewis, leading lights of the Vorticists whose reputations would become clouded by their post–Great War political enthusiasms. Three performances only. Tickets are $5 or free for Duke students. —David Fellerath
