Clean Water Lobby Day

N.C. General Assembly--Clean Water Lobby Day begins at 9 a.m. today, long before you will have a chance to read this. But the citizen-heavy lobbying will likely last into the afternoon at the N.C. General Assembly on Jones Street, so stop by to show your legislatures that caring about this state's water quality is an issue worthy of taking sides. Last year, 200 people witnessed the water to the lawmakers, and this year the Watershed Alliance--an organization of 20 statewide groups looking to protect our local resources--is hoping for more help. If you can't make it today, see www.ncconservationnetwork.com for more ways to keep your state beautiful and bountiful.
