GAY/ LESBIAN APRÉS-FEST
CAROLINA THEATRE—The 12th annual North Carolina Gay and Lesbian Film Festival may have come and gone, but don't fret, there's still a chance to catch a pair of cinematic gems on this final night of the APRÉS-FEST. Rock Haven questions the lines of sexuality and religion as a young man struggles with his own Christian morality and falls head first into lust with a seductive young man, while the German film Four Minutes finds two women overcoming their own violent pasts to find chaste love and comfort in one another's company. Tales of romance from the male and female minds, these films aptly encompass the spirit of the fest. Rock Haven shows at 7:15 p.m. and 9 p.m. Four Minutes shows at 7 p.m. and 9:10 p.m. Tickets are $7.50 for adults, $5.75 for students. Visit www.carolinatheatre.org for more info. —Kathy Justice
