THE MARKED MEN

CHAZ'S BULL CITY RECORDS--Denton, Texas, isn't exactly a factory for pop-punk bands, but these Men managed to find some Buzzcocks records there, just after some of them had worked in a much nastier lot, bilious haters The Reds. The faster-louder factor is in effect, with their bullet-songs just creasing the two-minute mark, but the melodies are intact. With Pink Razors and Crossed Eyes. Pogo-ing starts at 9 p.m. and is pass-the-hat.--Chris Toenes
