N.C. STATE CAMPUS—It's been a long time since video games were just Space Invaders and Pac-Man. With technology constantly evolving, games have become a multibillion market worldwide. Where are they headed? To find out, check out NC State's event "The Soul in the Machine," part of its "Future of Games" series. The speaker is Juan Benito, creative director of Destineer Games, the company responsible for Age of Empires. The event takes place at 4:30 p.m. at 320 Brooks Hall at the NCSU Main Campus, and will be hosted by Timothy Buie from the School of Design and R. Michael Young from the Department of Computer Science. The event is free. —Zack Smith
