Wolf Nipple Foofaraw

The Pinhook—Rescue that dusty banjo from the living room corner and put a new high E on that old six-string guitar that you haven't forgotten how to play, even if you've convinced yourself otherwise. The Pinhook wants you to come jam, acoustically. With this occasional new series, playfully dubbed Wolf Nipple Foofaraw, everyone is invited to share from both the ingrained folk songbook (think the archival wealth of Harry Smith and Alan Lomax) and songs so good they're certainly fit for a canon (according to the organizers, think Big Star and The Band). The free play starts at 8 p.m. For more, see —Grayson Currin
