Technoiz Wednesdays

The Pour House—Ideas are easy, but execution isn't. Late last year, local turntables-and-samplers duo the ExMonkeys and madness-and-beats scavenger Cheezface decided the Triangle needed a monthly night of electronic chaos. Now four months into that series, Technoiz, they're still expanding, recruiting unheralded area talent (like the trippy noisecapades of button-and-pedal pusher Yohimbe, who opens) and unorthodox party tricks (like MC Bingo Blower, who is going to give you prizes to honor your attendance). Bloodworth starts it, making this $5 show—which we hope becomes a local mainstay—that much more of a reason to move midweek. Music starts at 9 p.m. Visit www.the-pour-house.com. —Grayson Currin
