Raleigh
Patty Larkin
The Pour House—Singer-songwriter Patty Larkin spans a range of stripped-down folk ballads and soul-inflected pop beautifully, as she glides from rich to light airy vocals. The instruments often echo nature, with drums that gallop like horses (but lightly) and glowing guitars that radiate like ripples in a serene pool. The music begins at 8 p.m. for $15 advance or $18 at the door. —Elizabeth Lilly
