The Iguanas
Cat's Cradle—With musical multi-ethnicity and the good-times flag waving, the roots-rocking Iguanas have always been perfect New Orleans ambassadors. The quartet also displays the Crescent City trait of resilience. After being scattered by Hurricane Katrina, the band regrouped for a new record overflowing with Latin rhythms, street-level jazz, '70s soul shadings and reborn horns. In other words, business as usual for the Iguanas. And the album's apt title? If You Should Ever Fall on Hard Times. The revival starts at 8 p.m., and tickets are $15. —Rick Cornell
