VOTE!
In Orange County, citizens may register to vote, make changes in registration or obtain a mail-in registration form at the following locations:
  • Board of Elections Office: 110 East King St., Hillsborough
  • Carrboro Town Hall
  • Chapel Hill Town Hall
  • Chapel Hill Public Library
  • Davis Library
  • Orange County Public Library
  • McDougle School Library

Or go to the Board of Elections Website at http://www.co.orange.nc.us/elect/#Registration

    ORGANIZE!

  • Laurel Oaks Apartments in North Raleigh is sponsoring a voter registration drive Saturday, April 24, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. and Sunday, April 25, from 1 to 3 p.m. at their business office at 3111-101 Longmeadow Court. Anyone interested in registering to vote is welcome. Laurel Oaks Apartments are off Ray Road, between Leesville and Lynn Roads in Northwest Raleigh. From Leesville Road, turn left onto Gateridge, then make an immediate right onto Longmeadow and follow the signs to the leasing office. Look for the red, white and blue balloons.
  • The Independent Weekly is looking for opportunities around the Triangle--at businesses and special events--to set up a voter registration table. If you have a location and would like to have our volunteers register voters, send us an email at editors@indyweek.com and write "Registration Request" in the header.
