Independent Weekly is looking for volunteers to help register voters at its upcoming Band of the Month shows and at other concerts when possible. If you'd like to volunteer, send an email to
editors@indyweek.com and write "Registration Volunteer" in the header. Or, if you're holding an event and would like us to set up a voter registration table, write "Voter Registration Request" in the header.

In Wake County, citizens may register to vote, make changes in registration or obtain a mail-in registration form at the following locations:
Board of Elections, 339 S. Salisbury St.
Public Libraries
Agencies Serving Persons with Disabilities
Drivers License Offices
Public Assistance Agencies
Public High Schools
Town Halls
Or go to the Board of Elections website at http://msweb03.co.wake.nc.us/bordelec/default.htm
All voter registration forms must be at the election office 25 days prior to the election. Upcoming elections include the July 20 primary and local elections and the presidential election on Nov. 2.
